Biography/History

Grover Swett went out west to work in Washington lumber camps in the early 20th century. He was involved in the IWW (Industrial Workers of the World) and was their secretary in Bangor. He also worked in lumber camps in British Columbia and Maine as well as on an irrigation project in Arizona. In 1972, he lived in Bangor, Maine.
