Joseph Fire Crow is a Northern Cheyenne flute maker and player, learning songs from his family in Montana. He has written and recorded several albums and is an active performer. He has won awards for his compositions and recordings. He lives in Winsted CT. He taught flute making techniques and process in the Southern New England Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program, Year13, 2010-2011
