This series collects audio tape reels from Jason Pate's personal collection. Featured herein is a wide variety of regional music with contributions from Kevin Roth, E.C. Ball, Deacon Brumfeld, Bluegrass Bonanza, Sugar in the Gourd, Ted Lundy, the High Ridge Mountain Boys, the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, and the Stanley Brothers Tape Club.
This series is still being processed and collects materials from several repositories. Because of the unreliable and temporary nature of the notes on the audio reel boxes, more accurate metadata will be extracted once processing is complete and analog-to-digital transfer reveals the precise content of the reels.
