Scope and Content Note
Materials include project field report, photos, survey forms, release forms, and photo log. Interviews recorded on cassette tape cover historical information, the sitar, songs, and vocal performances. 98 digital photographs are of musicians, dancers, and food at a community event and of community members' families. Digital copies of interviews also available.

Administrative/Biographical History Element
This project was carried out in 2008 by Andrew McLean. McLean conducted interviews with musicians, music teachers and students, and others involved in the production of Indian classical music in the region.
