Scope and Content Note

Correspondence, printed items, grant applications, newspaper clippings, reports, and other records of various folklife and/or heritage programs and projects in the state, of all sizes. This series represents, in essence, a vertical file of information on Louisiana’s cultural institutions and activities, including festivals, museums, historical markers, Native American tribes, organizations, and tourist attraction and groups.  Arranged alphabetically by agency or program and chronological within each folder.
