Gladys Morrison lived in Springfield, Maine as a young woman. In 1915, she accompanied her husband into the woods near there and spent time in a logging camp, continuing to live at the camp each winter for the next few years. She then moved to Lincoln, Maine, where she was living still in 1987. She had one daughter.
