Biography/History

Alan Coker grew up in Saco, Maine, graduating from Thornton Academy in 1934. Following that, he worked for the Diamond Match Company in various positions, wholesale and manufacturing, and later retail, as an office boy, shipper, and finally, manager. In 1990, he was living in Old Orchard Beach.
