Biography/History

John Sharpe, born in Pokiok, New Brunswick, was the son of John Sharpe Jr. and Fanny (Williams) Sharpe. He grew up mostly in Moro, Maine and moved to Argyle, Maine in 1905. He worked in the woods and on the river in both Moro and Argyle. He also did some carpentry work. He was married and had five sons and two daughters.
