Biography/History

Peggy Strong grew up in Connecticut and attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She moved to Maine permanently in 1969. She began her involvement with the Common Ground Fair as a food vendor in the 1970s. She became the Crafts coordinator of the fair in 1997. She also worked as a sign painter.
