Robert Ault was born March 9, 1949, in Dearborn, Mich., the son of John L. Ault and Betty McNeally Ault. Bob had lived in Blackwater [Missouri] for 10 years or so and was a beloved member of the community. He was a well-known musician who performed throughout the country, entertaining the public with his ability to play 27 instruments. He was best-known for his ragtime piano and banjo music.
