Barbara Merry is a marlinspike artist living and working in Port Judith, Rhode Island. She specializes in maritime knot tying and rope making for the fishing industry and operates a successful business. She taught this occupational craft to apprentices in the Southern New England Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program, Year 14, 2011-2012, and Year 16 2013-2014
