Dewey Williams was a nationally recognized shape note singer from Dale County, Alabama. This collection consists of video recordings made of sacred music programs produced by Dewey Williams that ran on Dothan commercial television in the Wiregrass region of Alabama in the 1960s. They feature local singing groups, church groups, and group singing of sacred harp music.
