Summary
Collection, 1995-2006, consisting of audio tapes featuring interviews, field recordings, musical performances, memorials, and religious ceremonies from across Alabama. Stephen Grauberger is responsible for a sizable amount of the recordings within this collection. Recordings of note include recordings of gospel groups, Primitive Baptist church services and funerals, White and African American Sacred Harp group sings, gospel and Sacred Harp conventions and meetings, and interviews with fiddle champions.
