Summary

The Art of the Hunt is a project documenting hungting and fishing traditions around Wyoming.  The collection contains information on gear makers, guides and outfitters, storytellers, family traditions, taxidermists, etc.  The project also documents public programs based on the research such as small library exhibits, talks, and presentations, including a major exhibit and programs at the Wyoming State Museum in 2014-2015.  The Art of the Hunt is a joint project between the University of Wyoming American Studies Program and the Wyoming Arts Council.
