Summary

The Scott Singers have been in existence for 31 years, and interviewee Julia Degraffenreid was one of the original members. This tape contains the 51 year old singer/arranger's history in gospel as well as the history of the Scott Singers which is her family's group. The Scott's now have two generations singing together. Their travel sites and audiences, love for the traditional gospel, and belief that singing together has strengthened their family is all chronicled on this tape. Mrs. Degraffenreid is the third generation following the tradition.
