Files pertaining to a wide range of events and programs produced by or sponsored by the Western Folklife Center, and usually taking place at the Western Folklife Center's headquarters in Elko, Nevada (some events were held in other locations). In addition to planning files for a few events, the folders contain promotional and publicity materials including posters, flyers, brochures, press clippings, press releases, invitations, schedules, program booklets, and occasionally photographs.
