Scope and Content NoteMaterials consist of a project field report, audio logs, survey forms, Chinese business directory, invitation to scholar's rock exhibition, photo log, clippings, project proposal, flier for the Chinese Culture Club of Baton Rouge, research articles, and seven cassette tapes containing interviews. Digital materials include six videos (AVI) taken during interviews, two audio tracks of flute performances (CDA), interviews in WAV and MP3 formats, and two hundred and twenty-eight images (JPEG).

Administrative/Biographical History ElementThis New Populations project was carried out by Jun Zou in 2006 and 2007. Through eight interviews of community members in their homes and documentation of two local Chinese cultural events, Zou aimed to present this population from both public and personal perspectives. The two documented events were the Moon Festival Party and the celebration of Chinese New Year.
