Lipfert discusses moving to Maine 40 years ago with her husband and getting started organic farming; joining the Sagadahoc chapter of MOFGA; volunteering at the Common Ground Fair by managing the craft tent; perceived changes in MOFGA and the fair such as better education about organic farming and the hazards of pesticides; an internal MOFGA Board conflict and its resolution; the importance of the Agriculture in the Classroom Program; MOFGA’s apprentice program; her favorite memories of the fair.
