Summary
Interviews conducted 2010-2011 with heritage speakers of German varieties. These recordings contain a mix of group conversation, free conversation and directed tasks (researcher-administered questionnaire, linguistic profile, ‘reading’ of Mercer Meyer’s picture book, Frog, Where Are You?). Group and free conversation touches on aspects of growing up in a German-speaking community in Wisconsin.
